Supplier: Ambeed
Description: 5-Carboxyfluorescein-N-succinimidyl ester (5-FAM SE) 97%

New Product

Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: Although FITC reagents have been more often used to prepare fluoresceinated bioconjugates, the low stability of FITC bioconjugates makes some researchers use amine-reactive succinimidyl esters of carboxyfluorescein (commonly called FAM) in bioconjugations. FAM reagents give carboxamides that are more resistant to hydrolysis. We have shown that FAM reagents require less stringent reaction conditions and give better conjugation yields, and the resulted conjugates have superior stability. We noted that FITC labeled peptides tend to deteriorate more quickly than the corresponding FAM conjugates.

Supplier: Biotium
Description: 5(6)-FAM SE (full name: 5-(and-6)-Carboxyfluorescein, succinimidyl ester mixed isomers) is an amine-reactive green fluorescent dye widely used for labeling proteins or other molecules that contain a primary or secondary aliphatic amine. The coupling reaction is usually carried out at pH 8-9.5. The amide linkage from the coupling reaction is much more stable than the thiourea linkage formed from the coupling of an amine and an isothiocyanate.

Supplier: AAT BIOQUEST INC

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Popular green fluorescent cell-permeable dye. Covalently couples via its succinimidyl group to intracellular molecules. The amine-reactive succinimidyl ester of 5-FAM acid is a common fluorescent derivatization reagent for covalently labeling peptides, proteins and nucleotides. Due to this covalent coupling reaction it can be retained within cells for extremely long periods and due to this stable linkage, once incorporated within cells the dye is not transferred to adjacent cells. Yields carboxyamides which are more resistant to hydrolysis than fluorescein conjugates prepared with FITC. Better retained in cells than fluorescein. Used in fluorescent small molecule preparations. Spectral data: lambdaex 494 nm| lambdaem 520 nm (Buffer pH 9.0).

Catalog Number: (89139-516)
Supplier: Biotium
Description: 5-(and-6)-Carboxyrhodamine 110, SE (5-(and-6)-Carboxyrhodamine 110, succinimidyl ester, mixed isomers), also known as Carboxyrhodamine 110-NHS, is a superior green fluorescent dye that readily reacts with primary or secondary amines. For many applications, the dye is preferred over 5-(and-6)-carboxyfluorescein succinimidyl ester (5(6)-FAM) or FITC because of its exceptional photostability and fluorescence insensitivity to pH (4-9).

Catalog Number: (89139-672)
Supplier: Biotium
Description: 5-FAM-PEO8 SE (full name: 5-Carboxyfluorescein-PEO8 propionate succinimidyl ester) has an approximately 32 Angstrom water-soluble PEG spacer that separates fluorescein and the amine-reactive SE group.

Catalog Number: (89139-570)
Supplier: Biotium
Description: Amine-reactive form of single isomer carboxyrhodamine 110. For certain applications, the dye is preferred over the corresponding 6-carboxyfluorescein because of its exceptional photostability and fluorescence insensitivity to pH change (4-9).

Catalog Number: (76483-502)
Supplier: AAT BIOQUEST INC
Description: It is widely recognized that fluorescent labeling of cells is an effective means to determine total cell numbers or how many viable cells exist in a sample.

Catalog Number: (89139-586)
Supplier: Biotium
Description: 5-(and-6)-Carboxy-2′,7′-dichlorofluorescein diacetate, succinimidyl ester is a useful fluorescent tracer that can passively diffuse into cells and covalently label intracellular proteins, resulting in long-term cell labeling. The reagent itself is colorless and nonfluorescent but becomes brightly green fluorescent once it is hydrolyzed by intracellular esterases.

Catalog Number: (103010-824)
Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: 6-ROX, SE is the other purified single isomer of 5(6)-ROX, SE. It appears that 5-ROX is more often used than 6-ROX for labeling peptides and proteins. 6-ROX is predominately used for labeling nucleotides and sequencing nucleic acids.

Supplier: Ambeed
Description: 5(6)-Carboxytetramethylrhodamine succinimidyl ester [5(6)-TAMRA SE] 95% (mixture of isomers)

New Product

Catalog Number: (89139-582)
Supplier: Biotium
Description: 6-ROX, SE (6-Carboxy-X-rhodamine, succinimidyl ester, single isomer) is the amine-reactive form of 6-carboxy-X-rhodamine single isomer.

Catalog Number: (PI46406)
Supplier: Invitrogen
Description: Thermo Scientific NHS-Rhodamine is a high-performance derivative of rhodamine dye, activated for easy and reliable labeling of antibodies, proteins and other molecules for use as fluorescent probes.

Catalog Number: (76485-766)
Supplier: AAT BIOQUEST INC
Description: Compared to the commonly used DNP-X SE (#2021), DNP-PEG4 NHS ester has much better water solubility.
