Description: The cannabinoid receptors CB1 (expressed primarily throughout the central nervous system) and CB2 (expressed in peripheral tissues) are members of the seven-transmembrane domain-containing family of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), and are named for their signaling function in response to cannabinoid drugs such as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9-THC). Significant evidence suggests that additional cannabinoid receptors may contribute to the many behavioral, vascular, and immunological effects of agonists such as THC and endogenous cannabinoids. Evidence suggests GPR55 may act as a cannabinoid receptor, although its definition as a bona fide "CB3" receptor remains controversial. GPR55 is highly expressed in large-diameter dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons, and its activation by cannabinoid compounds (THC, JWH015, and anandamide) has been shown to release calcium from IP3-sensitive ER stores. These findings are opposed by evidence that suggests GPR55 is an intrinsic receptor for lysophosphatidylinositol (LPI).

Catalog Number: (89141-648)
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Description: The subtype 1 neurotensin receptor (NTS1) is a seven-transmembrane domain containing G protein coupled receptor (GPCR) that mediates most of the known effects of neurotensin. NTS1 activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system in the central and peripheral nervous systems, mediating such functions as hypotension, hyperglycemia, hypothermia, antinociception, and the regulation of intestinal motility and secretion. NTS1 signaling is primarily mediated via coupling to Gq/G11 family G proteins, although coupling of NTS1 through Gs and Gi/o family proteins has been shown to modulate both adenylate and guanylate cyclase activity.

Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Description: ERp57 (also known as Grp58), a member of the Thioredoxin superfamily, is an ER protein with disulfide isomerase activity. It has been shown to increase after oncogenic transformation and to be a component of the MHC Class I peptide-loading complex.

Catalog Number: (89142-028)
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Description: Immunoglobulin M (IgM) is an immunoglobulin expressed initially on the surface of B-cells as a monomer of two mu heavy chains and two light chains. Following B-cell activation, IgM is secreted in its pentameric form, consisting of five IgM molecules joined at the base of the Fc domain by a J chain. IgM is the first Immunoglobulin expressed following infection.
