Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The LTF-2 immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype-matched control. The LTF-2 immunolglobulin has an unknown binding specificity and is used as an isotype control for rat IgG2b antibodies.

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The L17F12 antibody is specific for human CD5, a 67 kD transmembrane glycoprotein that is expressed on most thymocytes, mature T cells, and a subset of B cells. CD5 is a member of the scavenger receptor superfamily and is present on approximately 70% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes. CD5 is involved in modulating antigen receptor signaling in both T and B cells and acts through binding of CD72, its receptor expressed on B cells.

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The 2H7 antibody reacts with human CD20, expressed by pre-B cells, resting and activated B cells, follicular dendritic cells and a small subset of T cells, but not on plasma cells. CD20 is a 33-37 kDa transmembrane protein which is differentially phosphorylated in resting and active B cells. The CD20 molecule plays a role in regulating B-cell activation.

Supplier: Tonbo Biosciences
Description: The MY31 antibody reacts with human CD56, also known as the neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM), a glycoprotein which is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. The 140 kDa isoform of CD56 is expressed on human NK cells and NK-T cells, with increased expression levels on activated NK lymphocytes. The CD56 antigen is also expressed by neurons and is reported to play a role in nervous system development and neural cell-to-cell adhesion.

Description: DDX60 is a DEXD/H Box RNA helicase and the human homolog of the S. cerevisiae Ski2, a cofactor of RNA exosome. Expression of DDX60 increases after viral infection and binds to endogenous RIG-I, a cytoplasmic viral RNA sensor, as well as other RIG-I-like receptors such as MDA5 and LGP2. These proteins activate TBK1 and IKK-e, signaling IRF3 and NF-kB-responsive genes in the innate immune response pathway. DDX60 is required for the RIG-I- or MDA5-dependent response to viral infection, but is dispensable for TLR3-mediated signaling.

Description: DDA1 (DET1 and DDB1 associated 1), along with DET1 and DDB1 and a member of the UBE2E group of canonical ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, comprise DDD-E2 complexes, which interact with multiple ubiquitin E3 ligases. One of these E3 ligases is Cul4-containing E3 ligase complex CRL4. Cells depleted of DDA1 spontaneously accumulate double-stranded DNA breaks in a similar fashion as Cul4A-, Cul4B-, or WDR23-depleted cells, suggesting that DDA1 interacts with the CRL4 complex and may be involved in the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins.

Description: Apoptosis is related to many diseases and induced by a family of cell death receptors and their ligands. Cell death signals are transduced by death domain containing adapter molecules and members of the caspase family of proteases. These death signals finally cause the degradation of chromosomal DNA by activated DNase. A human 45 kDa DNA fragmentation factor (DFF45) was identified recently that was cleaved by caspase-3 during apoptosis. Mouse homologue of human DFF45 was identified as a DNase inhibitor designated ICAD. DFF45/ICAD have short forms that were termed DFF35 and ICADs, respectively. Upon cleavage of DFF45/ICAD, the caspase activated deoxyribonuclease (DFF40/CAD) is released and activated and eventually causes the degradation of DNA in the nuclei. Therefore, the cleavage of DFF45/ICAD, which causes DFF40/CAD activation and DNA degradation, is the hallmark of apoptotic cell death.

Description: The Dynamin-1-like protein (DNM1L) is a member of the dynamin superfamily of GTPases (1). DNM1L mediates mitochondrial and peroxisomal division, and is involved in developmentally regulated apoptosis and programmed necrosis (2). Dysfunction of this gene is implicated in several neurological disorders, including Alzheimer's disease. Mutations in this gene are associated with the autosomal dominant disorder, encephalopathy, lethal, due to defective mitochondrial and peroxisomal fission (EMPF) (3).

Description: DRGX, also known as DRG11 or PRRXL1, is a paired homeodomain transcription factor, and was initially cloned from a differential hybridization screen aimed at identifying dorsal root ganglia (DRG)-specific genes. DRGX is a key regulator of the differentiation of the spinal cord neuronal circuit dedicated to the processing of nociceptive information. DRGX is also important for the formation of the whisker-related somatosensory maps in the principal sensory nucleus of the trigeminal nerve, thalamus and somatosensory cortex.

Description: DDX3 contains all of the motifs of the DEAD-box family of RNA helicases, including the Asp-Glu-Ala-Asp sequence that gives the protein family its name and distinguishes it from other RNA helicases. DDX3 is localized to the X chromosome and has a highly conserved functional homolog (DBY) on the Y chromosome. DDX3 is thought to be involved in RNA splicing, RNA transport, and translation initiation. It has also been shown to be involved in cell growth control and is deregulated in hepatitis virus-associated hepatocellular carcinoma. Recent experiments suppressing DDX3 expression blocked HIV-1 RNA export from the nucleus, suggesting that DDX3 functions as a shuttling protein that transports the HIV-1 protein Rev and its cofactor CRM1 from the nucleus to the cytoplasm.

Description: Autophagy, the process of bulk degradation of cellular proteins through an autophagosomic-lysosomal pathway is important for normal growth control and may be defective in tumor cells. It is involved in the preservation of cellular nutrients under starvation conditions as well as the normal turnover of cytosolic components. This process is negatively regulated by TOR (Target of rapamycin) through phosphorylation of autophagy protein APG1. ATG12, another member of the autophagy protein family, forms a conjugate with ATG5; this conjugate has a ubiquitin-protein ligase (E3)-like activity for protein lipidation in autophagy. This conjugate also associates with innate immune response proteins such as RIG-I and VISA (also known as IPS-1), inhibiting type I interferon production and permitting viral replication in host cells. ATG12 has also been shown to interact with ATG10 in human embryonic kidney cells in the presence of ATG7. At least two isoforms of ATG12 are known to exist.

Description: FGF13(Fibroblast growth factor 13), also called FHF2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FGF13 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF13is a large gene, extending over approximately 200 kb in Xq26.3, and contains at least 7 exons. By cytogenetic, FISH, and database analysis, Gecz et al. (1999) localized the FGF13 gene within a 400-kb duplication interval on chromosome Xq26.3. FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. Other areas of interests and use for researchers include cancer, borjeson-forssman-lehmann syndrome, regulation of actin cytoskeleton pathways, apoptosis, GPCR pathways, TGF-Beta pathways, and Rho familty GTPase pathways. This gene is located to a region associated with Borjeson-Forssman-Lehmann syndrome (BFLS), a syndromal X-linked mental retardation, which suggests it may be a candidate gene for familial cases of the BFL syndrome. The function of this gene has not yet been determined. Two alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described for this gene.
