Description: NOSTRIN (nitric oxide synthase trafficker isoform 1), also known as endothelial nitric oxide synthase traffic inducer, is a member of the Pombe Cdc15 homology (PCH) family of proteins. NOSTRIN is expressed in the vascular endothelial cells of highly vascularized tissues such as placenta, lung, kidney and heart. It consists of an N-terminal Cdc15 domain with an FCH (Fes/CIP homology) region, two coiled coil domains and a C-terminal SH3 domain. NOSTRIN typically exists as a trimer. It functions as an adaptor protein binding to caveolin-1 via an internal domain and NOS3 via its SH3 domain, forming a ternary complex which facilitates caveolar transport of NOS3. The NOS3 protein is responsible for the production of nitric oxide (NO), a potent mediator in various biological processes. The translocation of NOS3 from the plasma membrane to intracellular vesicle-like structures diminishes NO production. NOSTRIN also interacts with Dynamin and N-WASP via its SH3 domain.

Supplier: Boster Biological Technology
Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Nitric oxide synthase, inducible(NOS2) detection. Tested with WB in Human.

Supplier: Adipogen
Description: Water-soluble, slow-releasing hydrogen sulfide (H2S) donor. Exhibits vasodilator and antihypertensive activity. Anti-inflammatory. Inhibits LPS-induced release of proinflammatory mediators (IL-1beta, IL-6, TNF-alpha, nitric oxide (NO) and PGE2) and increases the synthesis of the anti-inflammatory chemokine IL-10 through NF-kappaB, ATF-2 and HSP27 dependent pathways. Causes stomatal opening and reduces nitric oxide accumulation in plants. Oxidative stress-induced cell death inhibitor. Shows novel anti-cancer effects in vitro and in vivo. Anti-thrombotic via p-selectin dependent mechanism.

Supplier: Prosci
Description: Soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC), a heterodimeric protein consisting of an alpha subunit and a beta subunit, typically GUCY1B3, catalyzes conversion of GTP to the second messenger cGMP and functions as the main receptor for nitric oxide (NO) and nitrovasodilator drugs (Zabel et al., 1998 [PubMed 9742212]).Soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC), a heterodimeric protein consisting of an alpha subunit and a beta subunit, typically GUCY1B3, catalyzes conversion of GTP to the second messenger cGMP and functions as the main receptor for nitric oxide (NO) and nitrovasodilator drugs (Zabel et al., 1998 [PubMed 9742212]).

Catalog Number: (80600-352)
Supplier: MilliporeSigma
Description: A cell-permeable, photo-stable nitric oxide (NO) fluorescent indicator with a detection limit of ~10 nM.

Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: Chlorpromazine Hydrochloride is a phenothiazine antipsychotic; a D2 and H1 antagonist. It inhibits calmodulin-dependent stimulation of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase and nitric oxide synthase and is reported to uncouple and inhibit oxidative phosphorylation at 10-3 - 10-4 M. It is possibly a photogenotoxic agent in humans. Helps to induce hypothermia in mice in the dose range of 12.5 -100 mg/kg.
Chlorpromazine demonstrates cytotoxic and antiproliferative activity against leukemic cells, but does not affect the viability of normal lymphocytes.

Phenothiazine antipsychotic; D2 dopamine receptor antagonist, H1 histamine receptor antagonist; inhibits calmodulin-dependent stimulation of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase and nitric oxide synthase.
