Supplier: CUBE BIOTECH
Description: Each membrane protein has its native lipid environment. Therefore, each lipid environment is unique to each membrane protein. Moreover, it is this lipid environment that synthetic polymers like AASTYs interact with. Therefore, one needs a broader selection of polymers since there is not one AASTY that fits each phospholipid composition. To address this question, AASTYs come in three different ratios of acrylic acid to styrene. The ratios differ in hydrophilic property of AASTY, which results in different affinities to varying membrane lipid compositions. The second feature to screen for when it comes to AASTY is the size of the resulting nanodiscs. One of AASTY's most excellent features, compared to SMA or DIBMA, is that its nanodiscs are pretty uniform in size. Therefore, the correct fitting nanodisc size must be determined before.

Supplier: EMPIRICAL BIOSCIENCE
Description: Phu-50 High Fidelity Polymerase is the ideal choice for applications where the efficient amplification of DNA with highest fidelity is required. The enzyme is a genetically engineered Phu DNA polymerase but showing a 2-fold higher accuracy and an increased processivity, resulting in shorter elongation times. The enzyme catalyzes the polymerization of nucleotides into duplex DNA in 5 - 3' direction but does not possess a 5 - 3' exonuclease replacement activity. Its inherent 3 - 5' exonuclease proofreading activity results in a greatly increased fidelity of DNA synthesis compared to Taq polymerase. Phu-50 Polymerase-generated PCR fragments are blunt.

Supplier: Cytiva
Description: Biacore maintenance kits are convenient kits for proper instrument maintenance.
Supplier: Mortech Manufacturing
Description: Mopec’s range of Harmony tissue marking dyes are used to permanently mark surgical tissue margins in Histological specimens. Marking dyes are available in nine colors, with a standardized viscosity over the range. This ensures that there is less variation in viscosity from one color to another as compared to competitor products and allows the easy marking of both small and large specimens with any chosen color.

Catalog Number: (103010-168)
Supplier: Anaspec Inc
Description: The SensoLyte® Red Protease Assay Kit is widely used for continuous detection of generic protease activities. The kit uses a casein derivative that is heavily labeled with a rhodamine derivative, resulting in almost total quenching of the conjugate's fluorescence. Compared to the SensoLyte® Green Protease Assay Kit, this kit contains a red fluorescent casein derivative. Protease-catalyzed hydrolysis relieves this quenching conjugate, yielding brightly red fluorescent dye-labeled peptides (Ex/Em=546/575 nm). The increase in fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to protease activity. The SensoLyte® protease assay kits do not require any separation steps and can be used to continuously measure the kinetics of a variety of exopeptidases and endopeptidases.

Supplier: Biotium
Description: This MAb recognizes a protein of 145 kDa, identified as CD117/p145kit. It is found on a wide variety of tumor cells including follicular and papillary carcinoma of thyroid, adenocarcinomas from endometrium, lung, ovary, pancreas, and breast as well as malignant melanoma, endodermal sinus tumor, and small cell carcinoma. However, anti-CD117 has been particularly useful in differentiating gastrointestinal stromal tumors from Kaposi's sarcoma, tumors of smooth muscle origin, fibromatosis, and neural tumors of the GI tract. Anti-CD117 is also useful in recognizing myeloblasts in bone marrow biopsy and clot section.

CF® dyes are Biotium's next-generation fluorescent dyes. CF®405S is a blue fluorescent dye (Ex/Em 404/431 nm) with superior brightness compared to other blue dyes; it is also compatible with super-resolution imaging by SIM. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.

Supplier: Hach
Description: This colorimeter is a portable, rugged, and convenient instrument, ideally suited for in-the-field analysis.
