Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid Tetrasodium Salt, Dihydrate, Reagent is a solid that has no color and is water soluble. It is mainly used to dissolve lime scale but has many other uses in fields such as medicine, industry, cosmetics and laboratories as a chelating agent and sequestrant. Its reagent grade means this is the highest quality commercially available for this chemical and that the American Chemical Society has not officially set any specifications for this material.
