D-(+)-Camphor, also known as 2-Camphanone, is a terpinoid with a strong aromatic odor. This waxy, flammable, solid is used as an antimicrobial, a moth repellent and is readily absorbed through the skin producing a feeling of cooling similar to that of menthol. Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
