For oxygen-sensitive tasks and critical isolation of either the operator or the research project
Units have a one-piece, clear acrylic top and die-molded thermoset white bottom. A catalyst heater containing aluminized palladium pellets works in conjunction with the anaerobic gas mixture to remove trace amounts of oxygen from the chamber and maintains an incubation temperature of 35 to 37°C (95 to 98.6°F). The drying train consists of three polycarbonate canisters each containing molecular sieve, which eliminate impurities from the chamber. Self-sealing quick disconnects allow drying train changes without disturbing the internal atmosphere.
Units feature two vacuum pressure pumps, one each for the transfer chamber and drying train; the transfer chamber has an adjustable vacuum gauge. Each glove port is fitted with an ambidextrous glove made of Hypalon® material for superior chemical and UV resistance. Four ground key cock valves allow purging. Inner door on the transfer chamber opens automatically when pressures are neutralized between the main chamber and transfer chamber. Glove boxes have a bright fluorescent lighting system and illuminated controls. All clamps are adjustable to compensate for wear. Front viewing panel is sloped to minimize glare.
Units are UL listed, CSA certified, and CE marked.
Ideal for microbiology, biochemistry, plasma environment work, animal science studies, toxicology, and electronics subassembly.
