Direct thermal printable cryogenic labels for already frozen surfaces. The unique SimPEEL technology makes these cryo labels easy to peel and apply, even on frozen surfaces.
- Temperature range: −196 to +70 °C (−321 to +158 °F)
- Quick labeling of frozen vials and tubes (no thawing required)
- Withstands exposure to solvents, water baths, and condensation
- Compatible with most common direct thermal printers
- Convenient to print, no need for ribbons or other ink sources
These solvent-resistant cryogenic direct thermal printable labels can easily attach to already frozen vials, frozen surfaces, and frozen containers (as low as −80 °C/−112 °F). Labeling samples without having to thaw them first makes these labels an ideal choice for identifying valuable temperature-sensitive samples and specimens. Moreover, these direct thermal labels have been enhanced with the unique patent pending SimPEEL™ technology, allowing them to be easily and quickly peeled from their liner. These permanent cryogenic labels are designed to be stable in low temperature environments, including long-term storage in liquid nitrogen (−196 °C/−321 °F), and ultra-low temperature freezers (−80 °C/−112 °F), as well as dry ice transport.
In addition, these labels display excellent resistance to routinely used laboratory chemicals like detergents, alcohols (100% ethanol immersion: up to 15 minutes), xylene (immersion: up to 30 minutes), other organic solvents, disinfecting solutions, as well as surface-sanitizing wipes.
These labels are ideal for use in research institutes, clinical laboratories, biobanks, biotechnology companies, and other facilities that store samples under low temperature conditions.
