Virus Recombinant SARS-COV Trim Spike Protein 100 µg (from Mammalian Cells)
Supplier: ReVacc Scientific
A recombinant trimeric form of the spike glycoprotein (S protein) of SARS-Cov (GenBank: AY278554.2) was produced by human embryonic kidney HEK293F cells, followed by purification.
- Protein function: Bind to its receptor
This product contains ectodomain of S protein, and also had a pair of mutations (K968P and V969P), a HRV3C cleavage site, T4 foldon trimerization domain, C-terminal 8 hexa-histidine tag and twin-strep tag. Twin-strep tag can be used for streptavidin labeling.
This product has been run on SDS-PAGE with reduced condition and Native blue gels, with results proving trimerization and glycosylation. The binding to one control mAb, published 80R and CR3022 antibodies, as well as ACE2-Fc was tested in ELISAs.
