Supplier: SPECTRUM CHEMICAL MFG CORP
Betaine Hydrochloride is a vitamin-like substance that is found in many whole grains. It is an acidic form of betaine, which is a form of hydrochloric acid that is derived from the beet. It can be used as a supplement to aid in the digestion of proteins as well as other benefits. It is used as a moisturizer and stabilizer in skin care formulations and increases the water solubility of active compounds. In surfactant solutions, betaine acts as a foam modifier and increases the foam volume and stability and improves the after-feel of conditioners.
Ungraded products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use or research purposes and typically are not suitable for human consumption or therapeutic use.
