VANILLIN, NF is an organic compound and can be found in its natural form in vanilla beans. It has a strong and intense vanilla like smell. As a phenolic aldehyde it is often used as a food flavoring agent and in a range of cosmetic and fragrant products as well cleaning products. It is also used for developing thin layer chromatography by acting as a general purpose stain. Spectrum Chemical manufactured NF grade products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.
