TRIBASIC CALCIUM PHOSPHATE, POWDER, NF is also referred to as tricalcium phosphate and is a calcium salt of phosphoric acid. It is one of the main byproducts of bone combustion but can also be obtained from inorganic sources such as mineral rock. It is used in baby powder as well as in powdered spices as an anticaking agent. It is also used in gene transfection and in diet supplements for repairing bony defects. Historically tribasic calcium phosphate been used in the production of porcelain. Spectrum Chemical NF products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.
