IMIDUREA, NF is also referred to as imidazolidinyl urea and is used in cosmetics as an antimicrobial preservative that is chemically related to diazolidinyl urea. It is used as a formaldehyde releaser and in its commercial form is a mixture of various formaldehyde addition products that can include polymers. Spectrum Chemical NF products are manufactured, packaged and stored under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) per 21CFR part 211 in FDA registered and inspected facilities.
