CD56 control slides contain sections of positive staining pancreas and negative staining lung.

Newcomer supply CD56 control slides are for the positive immunohistochemical staining of CD56, expressed in a variety of normal and abnormal tissues
Staining Results:
CD56 positive expression will stain brown membrane staining.
Lung will stain negative.
Nuclei will stain blue.
These positive control slides are intended to be used to verify histological techniques and reagent reactivity. These slides are to be used for the qualitative purpose of determining positive or negative results, and are not intended to be used for any quantitative purpose.
CD56 recognizes two proteins of the neural cell adhesion molecule, the basic molecule expressed on most neuroectodermally derived tissues and neoplasms. It is also expressed on some mesodermally derived tumors.
