Primary Human Pulmonary Artery Endothelial Cells (HPAEC) are isolated from human pulmonary arteries (the main pulmonary artery, left and right branches)
- Von Willebrand factor (vWF) positive
- CD31 positive
- Smooth muscle alpha-actin negative
This product can be used in the following applications. Angiogenesis research, Atherosclerosis research, Oncology, Drug uptake studies, Cell-cell junction investigation, Inflammation studies.
Since the pulmonary arteries carry blood from the heart to the lungs, they are the only arteries (other than umbilical arteries) that carry deoxygenated blood.
