The renal cortex is the outer portion of the kidney between the renal capsule and the renal medulla


This product can be used in the following applications. Drug uptake studies, Toxicological research, Wound healing research, Oncology, Cell differentiation studies, Respiratory disease research.


It contains the renal corpuscles, the proximal and distal convoluted tubules, and the cortical collecting ducts. Important physiological processes like osmoregulation and excretion can be studied with HRCEpC in vitro.
