Hard-Shell® 96-Well Skirted PCR Plates are designed to withstand the stresses of thermal cycling and robotic handling

  • Reaction volumes of 5–125 µL (200 µL maximum)

The patented two-component design provides stability and flatness, allowing precise positioning for automation. The skirt and deck are molded from a rigid thermostable polymer to eliminate warping and shrinkage, and the thin-wall wells are molded of virgin polypropylene with DNA binding. The raised rims around each well allow tight sealing, and V-shaped wells with rounded bottoms provide maximal recovery of low-volume samples.

The footprint and well spacing match ANSI/SBS standard dimensions. The full skirt provides a labeling surface, and the low-profile wells are optimized for low-volume reactions and fast PCR.
