MPLA (from Salmonella minnesota) ≥99.9%, TLRgrade™
Supplier: Enzo Life Sciences
Synonyms:
Monophosphoryl Lipid A
TLR4 activator.
Isolated from Salmonella minnesota R595 (Re mutant). Prepared by acid hydrolysis from purified Salmonella minnesota R595 (Re) LPS (isolated by a modification of the PCP extraction method), converted to the uniform salt form.
Activates Toll-like receptor (TLR) 4. Does not activate TLR2 as determined with splenocytes and macrophages from TLR4 deficient mice. Exhibits reduced endotoxic and pyrogenic activity compared to lipid A and LPS.
