The vacuum rotary evaporator pumps lower the pressure of a bulk liquid to lower the boiling points of the component liquids within it. This allows users to remove research solvents from a sample without excessive heating of the solvent-solute combinations that are typically complex and sensitive. Multi-stage diaphragm pumps can be combined with condensers to achieve superior chemical recovery. Select models come with additional secondary condensers and air intake separation vessels.
